Dusky
Dusky are London based musicians Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman. As comfortable writing elegant orchestral pieces or stirring piano motifs as they are jackin’ house and techno grooves, Dusky’s diverse sounds are united by the duo’s singular aim – to compose electronic music with depth, soul and originality. Influenced by everything from classical and avant-garde electronica to UK garage and underground house, the duo’s emphasis on musical depth rather than genre restrictions has seen their compositions played by previous dollop guests Jamie Jones, Joy Orbison and Boddika. Dusky are one of the most talked about sonic acts in the UK at the moment and we're dead excited for them to finally lay down their first set in Cardiff.
