Liars / The Invisible / Kutosis / Jethro Fox
Over 18 only - Sŵn Festival is a four day multi-venue new music festival, which will be held between Thursday 18th - Sunday 21st October 2012 at various venues in and around Cardiff city centre. This night is split over 2 floors, with The Invisible and Jethro Fox playing downstairs and Liars and Kutosis playing upstairs. This is what Crack say about their night: "We’ve got our own stage at Clwb Ifor Bach as part of the amazing Sŵn festivities for the second year running, and if we say so ourselves this one’s a pretty special line-up. We can’t wait to see hotly-tipped Liverpool-boy Jethro Fox, WMP-nominated local heroes Kutosis and, fresh from shaping Jessie Ware’s massive debut album, Dave Okumu’s The Invisible. But the bill is topped by one of the most consistently challenging bands in the world, Brooklyn’s Liars. Yeah, that’s right. Having produced one of this year’s finest records, their experimental electronic offering WIXIW, this is an incredible opportunity to catch a truly important band in seriously intimate surroundings. With a copy of Crack in hand, obviously."
