Future Of The Left – the Cardiff outfit formed by Andy Falkous and Jack Eggleston of fondly remembered Britrockers Mclusky, plus Kelson Matthias of Jarcrew – decimated the multitudes last year with their excellent debut album for Too Pure, ‘Curses’, which featured songs about evolution, Tories, and lonely cats, and inspired NME to froth “Like Eighties Matchbox penned into Iggy Pop’s half-paced ketamine-addled mind - basically it’s ace.” Now, in the ’08, Future Of The Left return with a fresh single, ‘Manchasm’, and a new string of UK dates which include a stop-off in their beloved Cardiff.
