Saturday night at clwb is probably the longest running DJ night in Cardiff, clocking up 25 years in 2008. Downstairs electronic pop and disco dancing rules the roost, with DJs Ian Cottrell, Esyllt Williams, Cynan Llwyd and their Dirty Pop. When it's good it's wicked at the same time! Voted 'Best DJ Night' at Swn Festival 2009, it's hot, sweaty and more than a little dirty. Mr Potter's keepin' the party poppin' with jump-jive, soul, red hot funk bombs, plus rhythm and blues. For all you mods, rockers, punks and teds. Finally on the top floor the first ladies of the Cardiff scene,The Vinyl Vendettas. Their mix of indie, rock’n’roll and classics has been gracing festivals across the land and it is to Clwb’s considerable pride that they have decided to make the venue their home.
